A letter from the founder
Why I started Vipas
I had spent more than fifteen years inside SAP programmes before I started this company. Long enough to see what works, and long enough to get tired of what doesn't.
What doesn't work is familiar to anyone who has bought consulting: the partner who sells the engagement is never the person who delivers it. The team that arrives is more junior than the team in the pitch. The scope is defended more carefully than the outcome. And when something goes wrong late, everyone reaches for the contract instead of the problem.
I started Vipas in 2023 to run it the other way round. The people who scope your programme are the people who deliver it. If we think your timeline is unrealistic, you hear that before you sign, not in month four. And we would rather tell you a piece of work is a two-week fix than sell you a programme you don't need.
We help corporates move like start-ups, and start-ups grow into corporates. Both halves of that matter to us.
Large enterprises have the capability but move slowly — every change becomes a committee. Growing companies move fast but hit a ceiling where spreadsheets and goodwill stop scaling. Those are the same problem seen from opposite ends, and SAP done properly is the answer to both: the discipline of an enterprise system, deployed at the speed of a company that still has something to prove.
What we are building
Our ambition is to be a globally recognised SAP consulting and digital transformation company, and we are clear-eyed that we are early in that. In our first year we opened in Dubai alongside Chennai and Hyderabad, won an SAP Private Cloud AMC contract, and delivered three major programmes and ten plant rollouts. Today we are a team of more than thirty-five SAP consultants.
We are deliberately not trying to be the biggest. We are trying to be the firm a CIO calls back. That means depth over breadth: real expertise in S/4HANA, cloud, analytics and SuccessFactors rather than a brochure that claims everything.
How we intend to get there
Our mission is three words long — Work Together and Grow Together — and the order matters. We grow when our clients do, and our consultants grow when both do. That is why we invest in certification, why anniversaries get announced to the whole company, and why nobody here is billed out on work they haven't been prepared for.
Employees are our strength, and they have built a foundation of trust, honesty, and accountability. It is not a slogan we chose; it is the thing that has to be true for any of the above to work.
If you are reading this because you are considering working with us, the honest pitch is this: we are a young firm with experienced people, we will tell you what we actually think, and we would rather earn the second project than oversell the first.
